ABOUT

Holy Name School is located in a suburban southeast section of San Antonio, less than five minutes from Brooks Air Force Base, Interstate 37, and Loop 410. Because of its easy accessibility, the campus is convenient to a wide section of San Antonio. Its suburban location ensures the atmosphere of a quiet, neighborhood school.

Holy Name officially started in the Fall of 1961. Since that time administration and faculty have offered quality educational programs to hundreds of San Antonio and surrounding area youth. Some of today's students are children of Holy Name graduates.

Holy Name has been providing a Catholic education since 1961.  The school was originally staffed by the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity and later arriving the Sisters of St. Francis in 1981.  The Parish of Holy Name flourished, and the community continued to grow to now offer Pre-Kindergarten and Extended Daycare program with an Elementary and Middle School. Currently, Holy Name Catholic School is under the leadership of Father Martin Parayno and Principal Jennifer Sisk.
